The thematic focus "Digitization, Networked Society and (Internet) Cultures" builds bridges across faculties at the University of Passau. Researchers address topics such as changing communication and filter bubbles in digital channels, the implications of data-driven platform economies for established organizations and regulation, and the opportunities and risks of digitization in developing countries.
